circa 1865, with browned twist-iron 29 1/2in. barrels, colour-hardened action body and back-action locks all inlaid with silver wire borders and arabesques, en-suite hammers (one repaired), walnut butt-stock relief carved with vines and ivy leaves at wrist, raised cheek-piece, iron heel-plate, the scrolled trigger-guard bow and tang en-suite with the action body, iron fore-end with swing under-lever, strong amount of original but faded finish remaining
