dated for 1880, with 33in. barrel, plain blued slab-sided receiver marked with the maker and model details, walnut butt-stock, iron furniture, short under-lever, two blued barrel-bands, the front with bayonet lug, iron nose-cap to the walnut three-quarter length fore-end and under-barrel iron clearing rod, the whole refinished with some mild surface pitting; TOGETHER WITH a correct pattern socket bayonet and scabbard and a period leather sling
