AN UNUSUAL .38 (RIMFIRE) CONVERSION OF A REMINGTON NAVY REVOLVER, serial no. 3665, circa 1880, with octagonal 7 1/4in. barrel (traces of address only), dove-tailed fore-sight, solid frame with blocking piece in front of firing pin aperture containing a floating pin, plain cylinder with detachable back-plate, smooth walnut grips and brass trigger-guard, the ejector stud permanently fixed into the aperture originally containing the rammer
