GUNWORKS LEICESTER SQUARE LONDON', 2 1/2in. chambers, bored approx. 1/4 and 1/2 choke, treble-grip action, automatic safety, border and acanthus scroll engraving, the underside white-metal inlaid with 'XXV' surmounted by a coronet, bright and blued finish overall, 14 7/8in. stock including buttplate, weight 6lb. 10oz., in a modern lightweight leather case with original Churchill trade label with handwritten details of the gun and its specifications
Provenance: The makers label in the case details the gun as 'The Crown Model', with a 'date of issue' of 29th August 1933
