BLANCH & SON, GRACE CHURCH ST LONDON', crescent fore-sight, engraved band at muzzle, sighting groove to top-strap, colour hardened borderline engraved solid frame marked 'TRANTER'S PATENT' at breech, plain cylinder (traces of colour) with rear ratchet locking, hinged loading gate, spurred hammer, guarded trigger and chequered walnut butt with provision for ejector rod concealed in the iron butt-cap (missing), strong amount of original finish
