with brushed bright round iron 9in. barrel, moulded band at breech, solid top-tang, borderline engraved lock with rounded stepped tail, crown and 'W.R.' device below pan, sliding safe behind cock, walnut full-stock (repairs and varnished) with heavy brass furniture, the butt-cap marked 'D 16', traces of suppliers stamps and captive iron ramrod, restored throughout
