27 5/8in. (70cm) nitro barrels with tapered ventilated matt top-rib, gold-inlaid '1' at the breech end, the over barrel engraved 'AUG. LEBEAU COURALLY ARMES DE GRAND LUXE LIEGE BELGIUM', 2 3/4in. chambers, bored approx. imp. cyl. and 1/4 choke, three-piece fore-end with wooden side fillets and inlaid in white metal with the Lebeau crest, hold-open toplever gold-inlaid '1', automatic safety, hand-detachable lockplates, non-selective single trigger, the action, lockplates and furniture very finely engraved with scrolling acanthus and floral bouquets, the lockplates with game scenes of two pointers in a moorland setting to the left and two setters in a moorland setting to the right, the triggerplate signed 'CAPECE', bright finish overall, 14 3/8in. well-figured pistolgrip stock, weight 6lb. 13oz., in a lightweight leather case with Marcel Thys trade label
