circa 1880, serial number added later, 30 3/4in. nitro reproved damascus barrels, the rib silver-inlaid 'J. DOERSCH. IN SUHL' (faint), the breech-ends with gold detailing, 2 3/4in. chambers, bored approx. true cyl. and 1/2 choke, action with carved percussion fences, rebounding back-action sidelocks with carved hammers, permanently attached fore-end with cross-pin release catch, horn forward-facing underlever, carved triggerguard with horn pistolgrip, bold scroll engraving surrounding game scenes, 13 3/4in. stock including buttplate, with cheekpiece, sling swivels, weight 6lb. 4oz.
