type II (or model 3) variation for between 1888-1911, with re-nickelled 3in. barrels, raised rib with integral fore-sight, the rib signed 'REMINGTON ARMS CO. ILION N.Y.', re-nickelled receiver with swinging barrel lock and spur trigger, central hammer and later natural stag horn semi birdshead grips, virtually all of the later plated finish remaining, 5 1/4in. overall, complete with later leather holster
