with in the white round 9in. barrel (some staining), top-tang stamped with a small crown and '4', borderline engraved lock signed on the pointed tail and with a crown and 'G.R.' device below pan, ring-necked cock, walnut full-stock stamped with various Board of Ordnance marks, brass furniture and captive pan-head iron ramrod
Provenance: The vendor informs us that this pistol was purchased at Christies in 1973 who had obtained a large consignment directly from the Tower of London
