A RARE .32 RIMFIRE SINGLE-SHOT POCKET-PISTOL, MODEL 'CENTER HAMMER SINGLE', no visible serial number,
circa 1860, with reblued octagonal 4in. barrel, bead fore-sight, standing notch rear-sight, the left side of barrel marked 'ALLEN & WHEELOCK, WORCESTER, MASS', no 'overlap' at breech, sideways opening with automatic extraction, moulded iron frame with central hammer and spur trigger and smooth flared walnut grips
Provenance: Only between 500-1000 of these pocket-pistols were produced across three different styles
