circa 1880, 30 3/4in. (78cm) black powder blank proof twist barrels (proofed for blank max 60 Grain), the rib inlaid in gold gothic script 'F. KORNER IN SIEGEN', the breech ends with gold line detailing with decorative geometric inlays between, 2 1/2in. chambers, bored approx. true cyl. in both, horn encased forward facing underlever, deeply carved percussion fences, rebounding back-action locks with ornately carved dolphin hammers (one spur repaired), set triggers, ornately scrolled triggerguard, the whole carved in high relief with stylised floral and acanthus designs, surrounding gold-inlaid game scenes of deer and boar, the triggerguard gold monogrammed 'F.K.', 14in. stock with cheekpiece, sling swivels and engraved steel buttplate, fore-end wood with some losses to edges, weight 7lb. 1oz.
