A 22-BORE FLINTLOCK SPORTING GUN BY KING CIRCA 1815, no visible serial number, with 34 in London proofed two stage octagonal to round barrel with under-rib, plain bevelled lock with stepped tail, makers name 'KING' engraved to centre, raised semi-waterproof pan, roller to frizzen spring, swan-neck, pigeon brested cock, iron mounted walnut half-stock with chequered wrist, this is an honest and untouched gun, with a good sharp stock, barrel to a grey / brown patina with some minor speckling, in need and worthy of some careful cleaning and enhancement, rammer and top rammer pipe missing
