Other Notes: The owner who was Base Commander of the British Antarctic Survey Team bought the rifle when he transferred to the Arctic Circle where he lead expeditions in arctic venture and cruise ship excursions, It was used to protect his ream against attacks by polar bears. Unfortunately used five times to kill dangerous bears, it was ised much more frequently to scare them away.
He remarked "When you have 600kg bear running at 25 mph towards you, you need something which makes a loud bang and packs a punch"
