A RARE .22 AIR LOGIC 'GENESIS' SINGLE-STROKE PNEUMATIC AIR-RIFLE, serial no. 172,
circa 1995, with shrouded blued 18 1/2in. barrel sliding forwards to load, locking bolt handle to left hand side, the top of breech marked 'GENESIS, A.R. SPENCER AIR LOGIC ENGLAND PATT APPLIED FOR', blued air-chamber with applied machined telescopic sight rail, machined blackened alloy side-lever pump-handle mounted to the right hand side, ambidextrous chequered walnut half-stock with high comb and adjustable rubber recoil-pad, the whole retaining virtually all its original finish and in working order, together with an 'Air Logic' 4x40 'Colour Reticule' telescopic sight and mount and a cordura nylon gunbag
Provenance: Another casualty of the revolution in air-rifle design at the end of the 20th century, only 178 Air-Logic 'Genesis' air-rifles were produced (this being one of the last produced) before the re-emergence and subsequent domination of the pre-charged pneumatic-type air rifles caused the company to fold. They are rarely encountered today
