A. 600 FLINTLOCK TRAVELLING PISTOL BY JOHN WATERS OF RYE CIRCA 1825, no visible serial number, with 5 in. Birmingham proofed barrel (probably shortened) engraved 'RYE' at breech, borderline engraved lock with retailer's name, stepped tail and bolt safety, with roller to frizzen spring and fitted with a pigeon breasted cock, full walnut stock with bag shaped grip and brass trigger-guard, no rammer.
