A COMPOSITE 17th CENTURY BROADSWORD WITH RAPIER-STYLE SWEPT-HILT,
probably German, the possibly earlier 36 3/4in. blade with short blind central fuller stamped with an armourer's mark to both sides and a stylised Passau 'running wolf' mark, further isolated letter stampings (blade with irregular corrosion showing laminations but generally good), swept multiple bar hilt with pierced panel to front of guard (corroded), wire bound faceted grip and faceted 'apple' pommel
