A GERMAN THIRD REICH BAYONET FOR THE MAUSER K98k CARBINE, dated 1940, with 10 in. single-edged steel blade fullered on each side, ricasso marked 'E. u. F. Horster' with '1577 / e' over, steel cross-guard and hilt with Bakelite grips, pommel with Waffenamt stamps, together with its steel scabbard numbered '887' and Waffenamt stamped to the tip, plus a black leather frog, much original blue on the blade, scabbard with little finish remaining and some light surface rust
