AN INDO-PERSIAN PESH-KABZ DAGGER WITH WOOTZ BLADE,
late 19th century (blade possibly earlier), with finely watered backwards curving 10in. blade, both sides with a deep narrow fuller along the back edge for nearly the full length, carved finial to front of back-strap, polished mineral hilt inlaid with geometric sections of mother of pearl separated by lateral black zig-zag lines of polished bitumen and red longitudinal lines with brass inlay, together with its wood scabbard with goatskin covering (scabbard holed on back edge)
