circa 1870, with red felt facing and bullion surround, twelve battle honours on blue velvet ground, the whole mounted on tan leather with silk-lined pocket to reverse and labelled 'HAWKES & CO, No.14 PICCADILLY', three equally spaced suspension loops to top edge and complete with its tan leather foul weather cover lined in dark maroon velvet (inked 'W.H. 147 F')
