ENGLAND.', 2 3/4in. chambers, bored approx. imp. cyl. and 1/4 choke, some light internal pitting, slight movement on action, scroll-back action, automatic safety with gold-inlaid 'SAFE' detail, rolled-edge triggerguard, best bold acanthus scroll engraving surrounding finely engraved game scene vignettes of pheasant, partridge and duck, retaining much original colour-hardening and finish, 15in. well-figured stock (minor cracks to corners where meets action at head), weight 5lb. 10oz., in its brass-cornered leather case
