circa 1888, 30 3/8in. nitro reproved damascus barrels (in 1989), rib inscription rubbed, 2 1/2in. chambers, bored approx. true cyl. and 1/2 choke, some pitting, fluted leaf fences, removable striker discs, automatic safety with gold-inlaid 'SAFE' detail, fine acanthus scroll engraving, retaining very slight traces of colour-hardening, 15in. figured stock including 1/2in. wooden extension and 1in. recoil pad, weight 6lb. 15oz.
