THREE .177 PLUNGE-COCKING AIR-PISTOLS OF DOLLA TYPE, the last serial no. 229,
all approximately first quarter of the 20th century, the first an early type with square back to the inside of trigger guard, exposed mainspring to outside of barrel, black painted finish and integral chequered birdshead grip, the second similar but with nickel-plated finish, the last a scarce 'deluxe' with brass spring-shroud to mainspring, cast frame with integral grip and relief moulded scrollwork above the adjustable trigger, black painted finish (renewed) and nickel-plated separate trigger guard (possibly a variant of the pistol shown in the Charles Osbourne & Co 1905 catalogue, reference 1430)
