circa 1895, with nickel-plated 4in. barrel, integral fore-sight with narrowed blade, sighting notch to the stirrup-latch, the top-strap signed 'J. BLANCH & SON, 29 GRACECHURCH ST. LONDON', break-open frame with fluted quick-release automatic ejecting six-shot cylinder, frame-mounted striker, double-action mechanism and chequered hard-rubber grips with flat heel and lanyard ring (left grip chipped at heel), much plated finish remaining, lifting on cylinder
