30in. nitro barrels, rib engraved 'JOSEPH LANG & SON. 102. NEW BOND STREET. LONDON.' and '2', 2 1/2in. chambers, bored approx. true cyl. and 1/4 choke, treble-grip action, toplever engraved '2', automatic safety with gold-inlaid 'SAFE' detail, cocking-indicators, fine border and acanthus scroll engraving, retaining traces of original colour-hardening and finish, 14 1/4in. highly-figured stock, weight 6lb. 14oz.
Provenance: The makers have kindly informed us that this shotgun was completed as No.2 of a pair of 'special sidelock ejectors' with 30in. barrels in August 1905 for D.P.A. Gray.
