Provenance: The vendor's research has established that this pair of shotguns were completed in August 1935 for Frank George, then director of Whitworth Bros. (of Weetabix fame) and the Lot is accompanied by a (heavily faded) letter to him from Martin George of the same firm confirming provenance.
