A SCARCE CASED .357 (MAG) SIX-SHOT FACTORY-ENGRAVED REVOLVER, MODEL'27', serial no. N694793,
manufactured 1981, with blued 4in. barrel, raised sighting rib with ramped fore-sight and red plastic insert to fore-sight blade, white-outline adjustable rear-sight on matted top-strap, swing-out fluted cylinder with recessed chambers, blued frame with chequered top-strap, the whole covered in American floral scroll to Factory 'A' Class level, colour hardened trigger and hammer, smooth exotic hardwood grips and complete with its manufacturer's wood case (lining degraded), the whole appearing little used
Other Notes: A factory letter and proof certificate accompany this lot. This actual revolver was displayed on the front cover of the No.83 Parker Hale gun catalogue (circa 1984), who at the time were the concessionaires for S&W in the U.K. A copy of the catalogue is also included
