original 31in. nitro reproved 10-bore Whitworth-steel chopperlump barrels (rechambered from 12-bore to 10-bore by the makers in 1906 and subsequently reproofed in Italy to 89mm magnum specification) with broad matt rib, wall thicknesses at 18, 89mm chambers, bored approx. 1/4 and 1/2 choke, new 12-bore nitro reproved chopperlump barrels (by another) with broad matt rib, engraved with decorative band and spuriously signed with the makers name, 3in. chambers, bored approx. 1/4 and 3/4 choke, treble-grip action with side-clips, Westley Richards type toplever, replacement selective single trigger, gold-washed cocking-indicators, pins and trigger, manual safety, best bouquet and scroll engraving, small fracture at bridge of action, 14 3/4in. replacement pistolgrip stock (cast on for the left shoulder) including 1in. ventilated rubber recoil pad, weight 8lb. (10-bore) and 8lb. 8oz. (12-bore)., in a brass-cornered leather case with provision for both sets of barrels

Provenance: The makers have kindly confirmed that the gun was completed in 1901 as a pigeon gun at a cost of 60 guineas for a Mr Lorenzo Henry. The gun was supplied as a 12-bore with an extra set of 10-bore barrels. The 12-bore barrels were rechambered to 10-bore by them in 1906 and the original single trigger was replaced with a Lorenzo Henry single trigger with their permission.
