circa 1850, with octagonal 9 1/2in. etched rose-damascus multi-groove rifled barrel, the top-flat signed in gold 'C. GUNTERMANN IN DUSSELDORF', dovetailed blade fore-sight, standing notch rear-sight to the top-tang adjustable via a screw, the top-tang with scroll engraving and numbered '2' from a pair, fully fenced nipple snail, borderline and foliate engraved hump-backed lock with dipped tail, en-suite hammer, walnut half-stock with fluted butt and engraved iron spire pommel, set-trigger with engraved spurred guard and relief carving to the fore-end tip
