dated for 1868, with 21in. barrel, block and blade fore-sight, standing notch rear-sight, plain lock signed 'ENFIELD' and with a 'VR' crown cypher at tail, walnut full-stock with brass furniture including separate heel and toe plates, the butt chequered between, iron saddle-bar and ring, two iron barrel-bands and captive under-barrel ramrod, traces of finish throughout`
