NEW BOND ST. LONDON.' and (overstamped) '.360 SEMI SMOOTH BORE', the left side with 'WINNERS OF ALL THE 'FIELD' RIFLE TRIALS. 1883.', action incorporating John Thomas patent snap-action, patent no. 3091 of 15th November 1871, rebounding back action lock with carved percussion fence, border and acanthus scroll engraving, 15in. pistolgrip stock including steel buttplate, with steel pistolgrip-cap, cheekpiece, weight 5lb. 8oz., in a leather case with Holland & Holland trade label
