30 3/8in. (77cm) nitro reproved chopperlump barrels (in 2016), raised matt rib with banner engraved '-FIRMA - FRANZ - KETTNER - KOLN - SUHL -', and with acanthus scroll detailing at the breech ends, 2 3/4in. chambers, bored approx. full choke in both, treble-grip action with fine oak leaf carved fences, reverse side-clips, automatic safety with gold-inlaid 'S' detail, action incorporating J. Deeley and L.B. Taylor patent hand-detachable locks, patent no. 17731 of 28th July 1897 with improved 'lighter pull-off' modification, patent no. 10567 of 7th May 1907, use number 2476, articulated front trigger, action, decorative sideplates and furniture fully engraved with fine acanthus scrollwork with beaded borders, retaining virtually full (likely renewed) colour-hardening and finish, 14 1/4in. well-figured stock, sling eyes, weight 7lb. 9oz.
