German proofs for 1924, with 9 1/2in. blued octagonal barrels, dovetailed blade fore-sights, elevating notch rear-sights, colour hardened breech-blocks with moulded and fenced snails, engraved colour hardened top-tangs, border and scroll engraved colour hardened bar-action locks with moulded and engraved hammers, walnut three-quarter stocks with skip-chequered swept grips, moulded grip-caps, spurred triggerguard bows, single set triggers and schnabel fore-end tips with no provision for ramrods, both pistols with much original finish and colour and appearing little used
