LONDON. .ENGLAND.' and with gold accented fine acanthus detailing at the breech ends, 2 3/4in. chambers, bored approx. 1/2 and 3/4 choke, self-opening action with removable striker discs, automatic safety with gold-inlaid 'SAFE' detail, gold-inlaid cocking-indicators, non-selective single trigger, rolled-edge triggerguard, the action, lockplates and furniture fully engraved with bold scrolling acanthus leaves with gold accenting, the makers name in an elaborate gold-inlaid banner, the triggerplate signed 'WEZ TALLETT', 15in. highly-figured Prince of Wales pistolgrip stock with steel pistolgrip-cap engraved and gold highlighted en suite, the fore-end iron similarly decorated and engraved 'PURDEY' at the knuckle, weight 6lb. 6oz., in its fine brass-cornered oak-lined leather case with accessories, two cleaning rods, canvas and leather outer and with its gold-tooled 'New Gun / Maintenance Record', meticulously calligraphed with the original specifications
