for 1970, 28in. nitro chopperlump barrels with raised matt ribs gold-inlaid '1' and '2' at the breech ends and with floral detailing, 2 3/4in. chambers, bored approx. 1/4 and 1/2 choke (No.1) and 1/2 and 3/4 choke (No.2), No.2 barrels with some pits and bulges, treble-grip action with hidden third bite and side-clips, removable striker discs, automatic safety, Holland & Holland style self-opening system, hand-detachable lockplates with right side release, cocking-indicators, triggers set for the left hand, the front articulated, right edge rolled-edge triggerguard, acanthus scroll engraving with ribboned floral bouquets, the fences carved in relief with leaf motifs, retaining much original colour-hardening and finish, 14 1/4in. figured stock cast on for the left shoulder, weight 7lb. 3oz., in a leather double-ended motor case with provision for both sets of barrels
