circa 1880 with 33 1/4in. barrel, block and blade fore-sight, tangent rear-sight, slab-sided receiver with tubular bolt-housing and signed 'WAFFENFABRIK BERN' (some light pitting), side loading aperture, turned down bolt-handle with large cocking piece, walnut butt-stock, iron furniture including spurred trigger guard, full-length checkerboard chequered fore-end with two iron barrel-bands, iron nose-cap and concealed tubular magazine, missing clearing-rod
