circa 1840, with damascus 30in. barrels, the top-rib signed 'W. GOLDEN, CROSS CHURCH ST.T. HUDDERSFIELD' (rubbed but legible), bead fore-sight, re-applied gold lines at breech, platinum plugs, scroll engraved top-tang, border, scroll and gamescene engraved bar-action locks signed 'W. GOLDEN', figured walnut half-stock chequered at the wrist, iron furniture (heel-plate badly corroded at heel), full length finial joining to the ramrod throat and original ebony ramrod
