AN UNUSUAL 16-BORE PERCUSSION DOUBLE-BARRELLED SPORTING-GUN WITH MACHINE ENGRAVING, no visible serial number,
circa 1865, with re-browned 30in. damascus barrels, the top-rib inlet in silver 'SHARP LONDON WARRANTED' framed with scrolls, the top-tang roll engraved with a geometric pattern, the same pattern repeated on the back-action locks, carved fish-head hammers, en-suite engraved patch box to right side of butt with a further similarly engraved cap-box to underside at toe, iron heel-plate and trigger guard, moulded fore-end cap and replacement ramrod (some loss to detail on furniture from re-finishing)
