33 1/4in. nitro reproved (in 2017, serial number added by the Proof Authorities) triple-stage twist iron barrel with carved band at the intersection, the top flat signed 'CHARLES BOSWELL. MAKER. 126 STRAND. LONDON. W.C.', and with acanthus detailing at the breech-end, 3in. chamber, bored approx. 1/4 choke, Jones patent underlever, carved fence, non-rebounding bar-action sidelock, border, acanthus scroll and game scene engraving, and signed 'CHAS. BOSWELL.', brushed bright finish, 14in. figured pistolgrip stock with steel pistolgrip-cap, fore-end with horn finial, weight 9lb. 1oz.
