A SCARCE .32 RIMFIRE THREE-SHOT PISTOL SIGNED MARSTON, MODEL 'THREE-SHOT DERRINGER', serial no. 203, for circa 1866, with hinged moulded vertically stacked 4in. reblued three-barrel group, small applied crescent fore-sight, rotating dove-tailed locking catch with central sighting groove mounted to top of the re-nickelled receiver, the sides with the details 'WM. W. MARSTON PATENTED MAY 26 1857 NEW YORK CITY IMPROVED 1864' on the left hand face and blued rotating barrel selector on the right, spur trigger, external blued hammer, fitted with replacement period ivory grips
