circa 1850 and possibly converted from flint, with browned 30in. twist barrels, the raised top-rib signed in script 'MINORIES, LONDON', bead fore-sight, engraved rib-end at breech, platinum vents, foliage and scroll engraved top-tang, border and scroll engraved clip-tailed locks signed on the bars 'BARNETT' and with en-suite dolphin-headed hammers, walnut half-stock chequered at the wrist, clip-cornered rectangular escutcheon behind top-tang initialled and dated '1851', iron heel-plate and engraved oversize trigger-guard bow, pineapple finial and replacement horn tipped wood ramrod
