with 33in. browned barrel, block fore-sight, standing notch rear-sight, East India Co. stamps and London proofs at breech, solid top-tang, plain lightly radiused lock marked with the E.I.C. Co. 'rampant lion' trademark, walnut full-stock with exposed muzzle, brass furniture and iron ramrod
Other Notes: These muskets were all cut down in 1832 from Light Infantry Muskets. Many were subsequently sold off to the colonies and companies such as the East India Company
