* A .69 PERCUSSION CONTINENTAL THREE BAND MUSKET, serial no. 37, circa 1850, having a 38" barrel with bayonet stud on underside near muzzle, the lock of rounded flintlock form plain and unmarked, probably a conversion, iron mounted full walnut stock the left-side of butt scooped for cheek-rest, three iron spring retained barrel bands, the top band incorporating a brass fore-sight. Barrel and lock reblued, nipple broken, middle band and rod a replacement, stock worn.
