circa 1874-78, with 6 1/2in. barrel, the sighting rib signed by the maker and with patent dates to '1869' terminating in 'RUSSIAN MODEL', integral blade fore-sight, fixed rear-sight, break-open frame with fluted cylinder, plated hammer, trigger and spurred trigger-guard, smooth walnut grips and lanyard ring at heel, a fair amount of original nickel-plating remaining, some isolated patches of pitting, with a later full-flap leather holster
