A 11.53 X 53 MM BELGIAN MODEL 1867 BRAENDLIN ALBINI BREECH LOADING SERVICE RIFLE, CIRCA 1867, serial NO 363, with 34 in barrel, ladder rear-sight, plain unmarked back-action lock, forward hinged flip open breech, regulation iron mounted full walnut stock, the forend with three spring retained barrel bands, the lower band has had the top broken off, there is evidence that a large section of the forend has been professionally grafted on probably a period service repair, there is also a crack between the top of the lock and the action tang, no rod.
