CIRCA 1880, serial no. 3274, 21 in. barrel with saw-cut at breech and rusted overall, fitted with block and blade front-sight and correct carbine rear-sight, the action body dirty and corroded, the markings very faint, iron mounted two piece walnut stock, with two barrel bands the top band with bayonet lug, the butt with faint Enfield roundel and inset brass marker disc stamped 'R.I.C. / 3274', indicating issue to the Royal Irish Constabulary, replacement rod
