probably for a WG Army style revolver with birdshead grip, measuring externally 12in. x 7 1/2in. x 2 1/2in., lined in red baize (some light mothing) with Wilkinson trade label and tray for ammunition, complete with oil bottle and mahogany cleaning rod, retaining its leather cross-straps and initialed 'F.R.' to the lid
