with limited edition number '181' of believed 1000 produced, based on the two-shot Webley Raider, with 21 3/4in. barrel including brass detailed sound moderator, blacked alloy receiver with automatic two-shot magazine, the left side of receiver etched with 'VENOM MAMBA No. 181' over 'BIRMINGHAM, ENGLAND LIMITED 1000 EDITION', blued air-chamber with special gold-coloured fittings, ambidextrous beech three-quarter stock and fitted with a Simmons 3-9x40 telescopic sight and mounts, the whole appearing little used, with a padded cordura gunbag
Provenance: Venom Arms was started by Dave Pope and Ivan Hancock in the early 1980's and specialised in tuning spring-piston air-rifles, with their Weihrauch models being particularly sought after. Later the company signed an exclusivity deal with Webley to produce some special versions of pre-existing Webley models, of which this is one example. It is very doubtful that the intended production of 1000 units was ever fulfilled
