circa 1800, with flattened diamond cross-section 27 1/4in. double edged blade, the first half of both sides with a blued ground (faded purple), blued scrolls extending into the polished front half and a bright panel with further blued scrolls in the centre of the blued section, wood root-ball handle and cane scabbard with white metal collar at throat
