for 1943, with 5in. barrel, blued slide with correct duo-tone nose and marked with maker's address and patent dates to 1913 on the left and inscribed 'EJERCITO MEXICO' on the right, 'WB' inspector's mark and 'UNITED STATES PROPERTY' to the frame, arched and chequered main-spring housing, Colt marked magazine and lanyard loop at heel, chequered brown plastic grips, the original finish faded and thinned
